Joooid is an Android client for the Joomla CMS: it has been created to publish articles with images, galleries and a map indicating the GPS position where the article has been published from (sample article here).
Among the Joooid's features there are an article manager that allows to browse, publish or trash articles and an utility that uploads files from the Android device directly into the Joomla directory (make a tour).
To start using Joooid you need to download and install it from the Android Market then install the Joooid plugin (see instructions here), it is also possible to install some extra plugins to embed Google maps in your article and optionally a shadowbox plugin for the image gallery, I'am currently developing a solution to embed YouTube videos too.
If you find problems in using Joooid, please first check the setup and troubleshooting section. If it does not help to solve the problem, you can add a post in the bug reporting section or write me an e-mail here with a description of the problem and the published post url (if necessary).
If you like the plugin, you could write a review on the Joomla extension drectory and consider to make a donation to help me improve the application.
อย่าลืม ลง plugin ก่อน

1. Install the Joooid plugin

Download the plugin here.

Go to your Administrator Panel,

click on Install/Uninstall from the Extension Tab (fig. 1) :

joomla-install-manager

fig.1

Click on the Browse button and choose the file you downloaded, then click on Upload File & Install.

2. Enable the plugin

Go to the plugin manager in the Extensions tab (fig. 2)

Search the XML-RPC plugins and enable them (Joomla, Blogger API, Joooid API),

make shure that all the items are checked (fig. 3).

Edit:

the Blogger Api is not necessary anymore, I trasferred all the webservices in the Joooid Api, so it will work fine even if the Blogger plugin is changed (and I don't need to change the application every time a new version of the Blogger API is released).

3. Enable the XML-RPC Webservices

Click on Global Configuration in the Site Tab (fig. 4),

global-configuration-menu-option

fig.4

click on System and check "yes" on the Enable Web Services radio button (fig. 5).

That's all, now go out and post something!!! Laughing

p.s. there is some extra configuration to do for to obtain Google Maps in articles and Shadowbox in the galleries.

แล้วก็อย่าลืมลง google map

With Joooid you can publish a map with the geolocation from where you are publishing your article.

Now you can post within your article a map indicating from where you are publishing.

แล้วก็อย่าลืม Shadowbox Media Viewer Plugin

If you already have Shadowbox installed in Joomla it will work with no extra configuration, if not you can install a plugin like Shadowbox Media Viewer Plugin.
